Poor Patches

Oh man!!! Daddy was just telling Momma about our neighbor puppy (Momma calls him a weener dog???). Patches was with his Momma and Daddy and they went to a house, and when Patches' Daddy was taking her out to pee (I love to pee!!! So does Bubba!) - a Rotten Wiler and another doggy ATTAKED her!!! It tooked five hoomans to rescue Poor Patches! Thank goodness she's ok, but I bet she was skared. I know I would be. It skares me enuff when Bubba bites my nose!

Water!

Ok, I was tolded that Goldens, like myself, love water. So, when Daddy went up the ladder and got in the big huge waterbowl, I followed. Well, I followed up the ladder to the top. Daddy tried to get me in the big waterbowl, but I was not sure if it would be fun.
Momma tooked piktures of me - so I'll share a couple with you!!!
Yes, I gotted scared and ran away! Later, I DID get in the big waterbowl, when Momma gotted in there and was floating on a bed. She did not get a pikture, since she said she will not let her precious baby get wet (I think she was talking about the flashy box). I went in without using the ladder - and I quickly jumped out! It wasn't fun at all. I gotted very wet and had to roll and roll and roll to try and dry off. Momma and Daddy didn't seem happy with me rolling and rolling, but I had to get dry.
They are talking about a baby waterbowl for me and Bubba, so we shall see what happens.

Da PARK!!!!!

Oh Boy! Daddy and Mama tooked me to a place they called the Park! It was so cool! I gotted to walk all over the grass, and even stopped and checked out the News. Bubba told me about checking out the News - and today I got to check out a LOT of News!

This is me checking out the News at the first stop we made! Another doggy said it was a nice Park, and another said they met a big Animal with hard feet and someone on top of it!

Daddy tooked me all over, we walked while Mama tooked her flashy box and pointed it at me wherever we went!

Daddy and Mama say they are going to take me to Park more! They said I need xersize - and they said they needed xersize too!

I was tired when we were done, and they took me in the wheely thing to a place that smelled like doggy heaven - Mama called it burreetoes that they brought into the wheely thing! But I didn't get any of the doggy heaven, but I was happy to get my own water!!!! Mama says I have a tongue that is too big for my head! I used it to get lots of water!

Visitors!

I'm so excited! Momma's Momma and Daddy are here visiting wif us! Gramma will actually PLAY tug wif me and my rope! Grampa does not seem to like me and Bubba much, but that is ok - Gramma will play wif me!
She will not play ball wif me, she saz it is becauz I slobber all over the ball! Maybe that is why the Girls call Bubba and me the Slobbery Hound Things...
I will haf to think about it! But first - it is time to EAT!!!!!

My BirthyDay!!!

Mama has been down with the flu, so she did not let me blog until tonight.

My 1st Birthy Day was last Friday - March 7th! It was so fun! Daddy and Mama boughted me a cake and icey cream. I had to share with Bubba but that is ok. It was nummy!!! And then Mama gave me a new STUFFIE!!!! Another duckie - like my other one that gotted throwned away. I was so happy to get one - and I carried it around everywhere.

Except when Mama and Daddy gaved me a BONE! Bubba gotted one too but he did not finish his and I snuck it away from him and finished it.

Then later I gotted a PIGGY EAR! Bubba finished his - so I did not get more - but it was really nummy!

We ated cake and icey cream and bones and piggy ears all weekend! Mama says I was a piggy myself but I only ated what they gave me!

My duckie was so great I ated his insides - so Daddy throwed him away. I was sad but Mama played ball wif we for a long time and I gotted over it.

I hope all my Birthy Days are this great! Now if we can just figure out when Bubbas Birthy Day is. He is a dog with no papers - whatever that means - and he was dopted from a cagey place - so no one is sure when his Birthy Day is. Mama says we might just have him a Birthy Day in June - near Daddys Birthy Day. Since my Birthy Day is just tree days before Mamas - then we all can have cake and icey cream again with Daddy!!!!!

Cold white stuff!!!

Oh wow! I love the cold white stuff that is coming out of the sky! I like to run and play and and jump in the white stuff!
Bubba Dog doesn't like to play in it as much as I do. He just goes out and marks a spot and then runs back to go inside. I want him to run and play with me!
Today Mama cheered at me. She said I lifted my leg way high for the first time. She says I'm growing up! I'm not a puppy anymore. She doesn't know it, but I've been lifting my leg for a while - I watched Bubba Dog and wanna be like him! He lifts his leg, and so I learned to too. He wasn't very happy that I did it where he just did it, but it just seemed like the right thing to do!
And I mean to be a puppy for a long time. I have a lot of things to destroy yet. I have more remotes to destroy and more clothes to eat and more cords to chew threw.

Changes

Wow, it has been a very enteresting time since Santa Paws came.

First, the Boy tolded Mamma and Daddy that he was moving some place called Gee-Or-Gee-Ah. I guess it is far away from El-i-noy, and Mamma and Daddy had a lot of water coming out of their eyes for quite a while. He tolded them one night and left the next morning. Dizzy was not happy about him leaving her, but I try to make her feel better by PLAYING - but she just runs away. I keep telling her that PLAYING will make everything better but she says I am just a baby slobbery hound thing and I am stupid. Mamma says I am smart and Bubba says a cat noes nothing.

And now our house is really different. We have new colors on all the walls, and today some men came and put down really soft ground in the big room. Then Daddy broughted new sitting places in - but he and Mamma will not let me or Bubba sit on it. They said we scratched up the old sitting places and so we can not get on the new ones. I just no me and Bubba wanna lay on them, and we keep getting swatted off. At least the new ground is soft.

I also gotted to play in the cold white stuff outside! I like the cold white stuff! Mamma tooked this pikture of me while I was playing in it and trying to get her to play too!

Then I gotted tired and came inside and tooked a nap. This was when we were allowed to get on the sitting places. Daddy even had a big square stuffie that I could curl up with.

I am now 10 monts old. Momma and I have close birthy-days, and she is talking about having a party for me! She wants to show off her new-like house and she said March would be a good time to do it with it being my very first birthy-day and her forty-first birthy-day (she said I was not supposed to tell how many birthy-days she is - but I am just a puppy - so I did it anyway!) I hope we do have a party - I like having people over to PLAY with!
